My Degree is Black is gearing up for our third video/photo shoot where we film the stories of HBCU alumni while they share the impact attending an HBCU has had on their lives. It’s our way of celebrating the rich culture of HBCUs and the combatting the negative stigmas associated with our institutions.

My Degree is Black will be partnering with local establishments in the city of Houston to feature and highlight HBCU business owners as a way to support and further their businesses and the mission of HBCUs.
